“When life gives you Star Wars action figures…”

Whoops, it’s been a while since I’ve put anything new up on here!  Sorry about that.  Want to read about some garbage I found?  I knew you would.  One of the best things about living in Toronto (or any big city, I’d imagine) is the perfectly good trash people leave out on the curb.  At the risk of sounding like a hobo, I’m going to write a bit about it.

Last month was amazing for trash pickin’! Somebody moved out of my building and I wonder what they took with them because the stuff they left behind was pure gold!  The cream of the crop was the box of assorted action figures left out front.

My Paperclip Flashlight Diffuser. I was bored, OK??

Inside was the crew of the starship enterprise (minus Picard), most of the cast of The Empire Strikes Back (no Vader), and a plethora of Godzilla’s greatest foes (The King of Monsters was MIA) and even a cassette tape of Billy Crystal’s standup! (Somebody up there likes me…)  Now I just have to wait for someone to throw out a tape-deck…

So I did what anyone would do in my position.  I set up a miniature portrait studio to capture each of these icons in all their melted, chewed-up glory (I don’t think I’ve ever come across a Luke Skywalker that hadn’t had a lighter taken to his face).  I’m considering having them made into large prints.  Here’s Chewy’s grad photo.  I can’t verify, but judging by the tooth-marks, he’s delicious!
